We are looking for the right person to join our small, very busy criminal defense law practice in a full-time, salaried position. The position will involve answering phones, doing client intakes, making court runs, managing calendars and billing, organizing physical and electronic files, light paralegal work, and generally helping to hold the operation together.

People come to us for help in what are often the darkest and most difficult times of their lives. We need someone who is compassionate, enjoys talking to people and providing support through hard times, but is also hyper organized and resourceful. Attention to detail and self-organization are critically important to this position.

The position may involve occasional local travel, typically between Raleigh and Durham, but the position will be 99% based in Raleigh at our downtown office.

We would like to find the right candidate who would like to join our firm for a long-term career position.

Starting salary range of $35,000-48,000 depending on experience and qualifications. Ample room for growth over time for the right candidate. Lots of flexibility and generous vacation time. Benefits negotiable depending on need.
