Position: Legal Assistant/ Office Manager

Location: Berkeley Height, NJ

Pay: $50,000 - $70,000 (B.O.E.)

A prestigious Law firm in Berkeley Hights, NJ is interested in hiring a Legal Assistant/ Office Manager. This position will support attorneys and paralegals in the Labor and Employment departments. Candidate should have experience from mid-large sized law firms.

Responsibilities:

  • Open new files, and identify any potentional conflicts for conflicts checks
  • Prepare legal correspondence between attorneys at the firm and other outside entities
  • Maintain department calendar and reming attorneys of upcoming deadlines
  • Imput attorney time into billing systems for billing purposes

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 years experience as a Legal Assitant
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
  • Document management experience
  • ChromeRiver, Elite or similar billing software experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
