JOB SUMMARY:
Level 2 Systems Administrator is a full-time position that provides in-person, customer-facing, hands-on support in our multiple corporate offices and healthcare facilities within the greater Atlanta metro area. This position also requires after-hours rotating on-call support responsibilities. Customer support issues and requests may range from simple to complex and include both software and hardware troubleshooting. Level 2 Administrators are expected to act as Ambassadors of the greater IT department by presenting themselves as helpful, friendly, supportive professionals both in appearance and demeanor.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
The Level 2 Systems Administrator is the first line of support, response, and resolution to internal customer technical issues and requests. Level 2 technicians provide direct one-on-one support via phone, email, chat, remote access, and in-person interactions. They are responsible for collecting diagnostic information, providing logical troubleshooting, documenting, and, where possible, resolving customer technical issues and requests. When unable to resolve customer issues or requests they properly follow an escalation path to leverage additional support resources. A level 2 Systems Administrator is expected to bring a high degree of technical knowledge and proficiency to their role as well as be apt in independently researching reputable information sources. Level 2 technicians should possess a solid understanding of Microsoft technologies and Active Directory, Domain infrastructures, networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, Routing, Switching, etc.), software installation procedures, basic PC hardware, and basic internet technologies. The Level 2 technician should also have an aptitude for server and desktop operating systems and hardware repairs.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
- Minimum 2-year associate degree with a focus in Information Technology Fundamentals. Work experience and/or Microsoft, FortiGate, and Cisco Certifications may be considered equivalent.
- Minimum of 2+ years of experience working as an IT Staff Member or Support Representative.
- Mac OS, Window 7+, IOS / Android, PACS/DICOM, O365 Administration, SharePoint Administration, Salesforce Administration, MSSQL/Tableau
- A resiliency to change and new ways of looking at problems
- Ability to manage work independently and as a team
- Ability to execute appropriate tasks without prompting
- Helpful, friendly, and supportive attitude
