Job Title:
Licensed Behavioral Health Clinician (LPC, LCSW, LAPC, LMSW)

Job location/program: Outpatient Services – Lawrenceville, GA.

Job Description:

View Point Health provides outpatient treatment to children, adolescents and adults. At the outpatient centers, we promote overall health and quality of life for individuals, youth and families through evidenced-based psychotherapy and medication management to reduce the impact of mental illness, behavior challenges, and substance use.

**Services provided in-person. Must reside in Georgia and have Georgia license as LCSW, LPC, LAPC, or LMSW**

Job Responsibilities:

  • Provides biopsychosocial and diagnostic assessments on new, existing clients and/or hospital discharges for those experiencing behavioral health disorders (MH and SA)
  • Conducts and assists with Crisis Interventions, executing 1013/2013s and collaborating with local hospitals for placement.
  • Work with clients to develop SMART and recovery-based treatment plans
  • Provide short-term individual and group therapy using evidence-based therapies for clients with SPMI &/or SUD
  • Assist clients in identifying, developing, and sustaining natural support systems
  • Provide psychoeducation to clients and families around mental health, substance use, trauma, recovery
  • Collaborate with other behavioral health and physical health providers to holistically address client needs
  • Complete all required documentation (daily clinical notes, assessments, treatment plans) in an accurate and timely manner (agency standard 24 hrs)
  • Participate in regular team meetings to collaborate regarding shared clients, build and practice new skills, and stay up to date on agency administrative information
  • Participate in clinical supervision to increase competence and professional development
  • Participate in on-call rotation to provide after hour coverage, via phone
  • Completes annual training requirements as outlined by agency and/or supervisor
  • Performs other related tasks as assigned by the supervisor


Minimum Qualifications:

  • Masters degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND associate licensure in the state of Georgia. (LAPC or LMSW) or-
  • Masters degree in a related area from an accredited college or university AND full clinical licensure in the state of Georgia (LPC or LCSW)
  • Must pass criminal records fingerprint check.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Carelogic or other EHR/EMR
  • Previous clinical experience working in Community Mental Health with SPMI, SUD &/or Co-Occurring Disorders
  • Experience providing ASAM or substance use specific groups such as Dual Diagnosis, DBT, Seeking Safety
