Accura HealthCare of Le Mars, located in Le Mars, Iowa, has an opportunity to welcome a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) to our team.

Accura HealthCare of Le Mars is a 46-bed skilled nursing facility (long-term care and rehabilitative services) and certified to participate in both Medicare and Medicaid. We are seeking an Administrator with a passion for continually improving quality of care and creating a culture that people want to be a part of because they understand their value and how they are positively impacting lives.

As the Licensed Nursing Home Administrator for Accura HealthCare of Le Mars, you'll be given the opportunity to lead people, programs and projects. Attention will be given to things like retention, community relations, financials, etc. You will have a direct impact on operations, staying abreast of rules, regulations, policies and procedures that impact compliance and promote positive surveys. Business and people development will be a large focus as you promote and align with Accura HealthCare's people first culture, creating an environment that people want to be a part of and those results will positively impact retention. Job Summary: The Licensed Nursing Home Administrator (LNHA) directs the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current federal, state and local standards, guidelines and regulations that govern long-term care facilities to assure that the highest degree of quality care can be always provided to our residents. Follow all established policies and procedures to include nursing care procedures, safety regulations, human resources policies, departmental policies and procedures to assure that quality resident care and an effective operation can be maintained.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree (IA, MN) or Associate’s degree (NE, SD) is required; if degree is not in healthcare, additional education may be required per state regulations.
• Experience serving in a supervisory role; healthcare experience is favorable.
• Nursing Home Administrator’s license and/or scheduled to take NAB exam.
• Must be capable of performing the Essential Functions of this job, with or without reasonable accommodation.
