Licensed Practical Nurses are an integral part of our healthcare team. The position requires strong medical knowledge and the ability to adapt to new situations and maintain a professional attitude when working with a range of people. A Licensed Practical Nurse is responsible for assessing patients, administering treatments and responding to emergencies. Practical nurses may also educate patients on health and wellness, keep detailed reports of their work and file paper work with physicians, insurance companies and hospital administrators.
Responsibilities:
- Administer to patients' physical needs and comfort.
- Demonstrate compassion in treating patients with dignity and respect.
- Provide first aid when appropriate; apply basic medical treatments.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or abnormalities.
- Communicate with medical staff to ensure continuity of patient care.
- Care for patients with a variety of conditions and treatment needs.
- Consult and collaborate with physicians, nurse practitioners, or other medical professionals to ensure that patient needs are met.

Pay: $26.00 - $35.00 per hour
