Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)-Full Time, Part Time, and/or Per Diem
Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury is a one-of-a-kind rehabilitation and community re-entry facility in Lake Katrine, NY (near Kingston, NY), specializing in:
- Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI)
- Ventilator Care and Ventilator Weaning
- Neurobehavioral Disorders
- Complex Medical Recovery

We are currently looking for Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN): Full Time, Part Time and/or Per Diem
Come advance your Nursing career Northeast Center for Rehabilitation and Brain Injury with our advance L.P.N program and tuition assistance program. We have openings for some great, energetic and passionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to assist with resident care in our sub-acute rehab and skilled nursing facility. Currently have Full-Time and Part-Time, 8 or 12 hour, as well as day, evening and overnight shifts available.
Flexible Schedules, Shift & Weekend Differentials and Extra Shift Bonuses Offered
Responsibilities:
- Recording health details of Residents; including vitals & temperature.
- Administering medications and injections to Residents as needed.
- Treating and dressing wounds and bedsores as needed.
- May be required to supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs).
- Helps Residents get dressed & take care of personal hygiene.
- Monitors Residents’ food and liquid intake and output
- Attends in-services
- Recognizes unsafe and unclean conditions and implements corrective action to provide neighbors and personnel with healthy, clean and safe environment.
- Deals effectively, professionally and tactfully with neighbors and family complaints.
- Observes for undesirable visitors within the facility and assists in maintaining internal and external security.
- Maintains staff morale and promotes their working together as a unified team.
- Assists in orientation and on the job training of new employees and ongoing education of staff
- Performs direct neighbor care and other job related duties as required.
Requirements:
- Current NY State LPN License
- Excellent work ethic
- Caring and compassionate personality
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Must have demonstrated ability to make decisions with good nursing judgment, handle emergencies and maintain excellent patient assessment skill
