LifeSync Malibu is currently looking for an LVN (full time) to join our dynamic team. LifeSync is Malibu’s premier drug and alcohol detox center. It is the only physician owned and operated detox center in Malibu. Our top priority is to make sure that our clients are safe through a challenging time. At LifeSync, our clients will get a customized program of care designed specifically by Geoffrey A. Booth, M.D.
Major Task, Duties and Responsibilities:
- Performance improvement data collection and reporting as directed by the Program Director and Medical Director
- Medication monitoring process
- Accepting and transcribing phone orders from physicians
- Treatment planning
- Assignment and supervision of the tech staff
- Admission and ongoing assessment of client condition
- Vital signs
- Maintenance of nursing supplies and over the counter medication supplies
- Nursing documentation audits
- Documentation and providing of shift report
- Medication counts as required
- Patient rounds
Requirements:
- Current California LVN license
- One year experience in a residential treatment setting
- Current CPR and First Aid certification
- Current TB/PPD results
- Current Employment Health Screen/Work Clearance
