Life Enrichment Coordinator

64-80 hours per pay period; Flexible Monday – Friday days in the Cottages + every Saturday in the Care Center.

Requirement: The position requires a minimum of a high school education, either by diploma or successful completion of a GED. Must be willing to drive the bus for activities purposes and be able to acquire DOT certification within 30 days of employment. CNA is preferred. Must be a Certified Activity professional, Recreational Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Occupational Therapist Assistant or eligible for certification in any of those fields. Cottages, our memory care Assisted Living community located in the historic downtown of Northfield. Three Links is a progressive health care provider for older adults in the Northfield area. Located just south of the Twin Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul, the campus includes Skilled Nursing, Respite Care, Memory Care, End of Life Care, Assisted Living, Independent Living, as well as home health services to the greater community.

This position is responsible for planning, developing, and providing quality Activities / Social Programs designed to assist residents in using their personal potential, both physically and mentally. This position reports to the Health Services Director and works collaboratively with members of the Assisted Living team to provide care and service to the residents.

The Life Enrichment Coordinator is responsible to role model the mission, vision, and values of Three Links. Inspires clients to remain at their highest level of functioning possible by encouraging independence; provide appropriate assistance when needed. The Life Enrichment Coordinator may be asked to assist clients with safe mobility, ambulation and transfers; with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs). Continuously encourage and motivate clients to participate in meaningful and stimulating activities. Designated staff member to lead client daily exercises, crafts, discussion groups, education groups, games, music, and special events.
