Job description:
A Line Operator/ Extrusion is responsible for performing and maintaining the daily activities associated with a production line. This includes operate line equipment’s, forklift, order pulling, safety, quality, maintaining production and minimizing downtime.
Every day, you can expect to:
- Embrace a culture of safety
- Manage a plastic extrusion line to ensure finished goods meet quality specifications and
meet customer needs
- Use standard operating procedures to ensure the production line is running with
specifications
- Forklift operating, sit-down
- Maintain a safe work environment through practicing proper PPE and housekeeping
compliance.
- Conduct regular product sampling to ensure consistent quality
- Meet or exceed standard production efficiencies on all production lines
- Maintain and increase ability to operate various production lines through certifications
- Practice continuous improvement which not only includes the line but also facility
housekeeping
Schedule:
Here’s just a few for our 12-hour shift opportunities - Shifts available:
- 1
st shift | 6:00 am – 6:00 pm, 3 days on 2 days off
- 2
nd shift | 6:00 pm – 6:00 am, 3 days on 2 days off
Salary:
Pay begins at $16 per hour with a $1.00 shift differential. YOU play a part in how often you get a
raise – ADS offers and encourages you to take part in company paid certifications, each of which
will increase your hourly pay and skill sets in addition to your merit-based raises!

Educational Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous manufacturing machine operation or extrusion experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods of time in fluctuating temperatures.
- Position requires full range of body motion including twisting, bending, reaching, squatting
and ability to mount/dismount industrial equipment and vehicles.
- Ability to stand and be mobile throughout a 12-hour shift.
- Ability to use hands, arms, and legs to physically handle and transport finished goods.
