Candidate must be ready willing and able to perform all necessary ground tasks associated with installation of new fiber wire from pole to pole throughout utility right-aways. Tasks include but are not limited; to pulling cable from large cable reel, pulling a wire lasher along preexisting cables keeping track of wire placement according to plans and working safely in high traffic. Will train the right person for the job.

Responsibilities:

• Pull cable from large cable reel
• Experience with wire Lasher
• Keep track of wire placement according to plans
• Abel to lash new fiber wire to existing strands
• Be able to work with a team
• WINTER: be able to operate a Loader / Plow Truck for Snow Removal Services

Working Environment:

o Stand, walk, or sit for extended periods

o Stoop, kneel or crouch

o Use your hands and fingers to handle, feel or move objects, tools or controls

o Talk, hear, see, read and write

o Use a smartphone, tablet or tother device for scheduling

o Use first aid equipment, fire extinguisher and power and hand tools

o Lift, move and carry objects up to 65 pounds

o Work in different weather conditions – Warm, Hot, Cold, Wet, Freezing

o Weekdays, Weekends, Overnights and Holidays a possibility

Tools: You have your own tools and equipment. Specialty tools provided
