Job Title : Site Reliability Engineer ( SRE Lite ) / Linux Administrator

Job Location : INITIALLY REMOTE

Position Type : Contract

Duration: 1 year

Working hours : PST

Job Description :

SRE Lite which is a Linux Admin with DevOps Engineer experience and also have Python Scripting experience. Incident mgmt, troubleshooting and monitoring Experience with minimum 4 Years Of Experience .

Roles and Responsibilities:

Primary Skills:

Ability to code in Python

Linux Admin (System Administration & Network Configuration)

Debugging & Troubleshooting (Application & Infrastructure) production performance issues

Knowledge of MQ (MessageQueue - i.e. Kafka, RabbitMQ)

Kubernetes

CICD Tooling & DevOps Automation

Secondary:

Shell Scripting

Knowledge of Containers

Exposure to distributed systems - e.g: Consul, Zookeeper, mongodb etc

Knowledge of Saltstack

Monitoring Tools: Grafana, Prometheus etc

NOTE : Candidate Must be local or willing to relocate to Los Angeles, CA; Mountain View, CA and Seattle, WA and willing to work onsite once return to office occurs.

Return to office isnt expected to occur for at least another 2-3 months. Once return to office occurs, will advise that the team members have 30 days to relocate.
