This is regarding to position of a Linux System Admin

Title: Linux System Admin

Location: REMOTE

Duration: Longterm Contract

Client is Navy Federal Credit Union

Past experience on Banks or Financials sector experience is needed

Requirements

• 5 + years of experience in Linux systems administration
• Expert level knowledge in design, installation, configuration and maintaining applications running on Linux OS
• Linux integration with other environments (authentication/directory services, network file systems)
• Hands on experience with Certificate and Vulnerability management
• Expertise in scripting (e.g. Bash, Perl, Python)
• Demonstrated knowledge of infrastructure services and networking topologies
• Develop and Maintain automation scripts to support operational tasks and processes
• Proficient in authentication, security, and disaster recovery protocols
• Advanced knowledge of at least one of the Cloud Platforms (e,g. Azure)
• Ability to work analytically within a problem-solving environment
• Strong organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to learn and apply new concepts quickly
• Team player with the ability to build relationships with multiple team
• Resolve incidents, problems affecting the operations/availability of high-profile production Linux systems
• Perform an assessment of server environments and recommend changes to improve system performance and overall stability
• Define and document processes and procedures related to deployment, migration, and general maintenance

Job Types: Full-time, Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
