Kottke Trucking, a privately held, family-owned truckload carrier specializing in reefer (temperature controlled) and dry freight services, is looking for a Load Planning Manager to join our team. We have been in continuous operation since 1938 by three generations of the Kottke family. Service driven, with old-fashioned work ethics, we strive to build long-term customer relationships through outstanding customer service. Long-term client relations are cultivated by our dedicated operations team, experienced drivers and our commitment to superior customer service.

Overview:

The main duty of this person is to assign loads to trucks, while ensuring customer service levels needed and achieving driver needs. This position will maximize revenue, while meeting driver expectations and customer on time service while supporting both the TL and LTL operations. Load planners need to be creative to find solutions to allow us to exceed our customer’s needs.

Required Experience:

Previous freight planning experience is required. Prefer 1+ years of Truckload planning. Pay will be based on previous experience.

LOCATION

Position will sit in Davenport, FL until new facility is built in Lake Alfred, FL

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
