Our parent company, Valley Cabinet, Inc., was founded in 1960 as a custom cabinet shop serving the local area with high-end cabinetry. Valley Cabinet enjoyed rapid growth and soon served all of Northeastern Wisconsin.

In 1994 a decision was made to offer the Valley Cabinet quality and craftsmanship through a dealership network, and Seville Cabinetry was born. By focusing on quality and high-end craftsmanship, Seville Cabinetry has continued to grow and now has dealerships throughout the Midwest, the Mid-Atlantic and into New England.

We are looking for a responsible LOADER/DRIVER HELPER to distribute products promptly to our customers.

Responsibilities:

• Transport and deliver Seville products; primary delivery locations will be Milwaukee, Chicago, Minnesota, and other Illinois locations
• Inspect vehicles for mechanical items and safety issues and perform preventative maintenance
• Create and follow routes and time schedule
• Load, unload, prepare, inspect and operate a delivery vehicle
• Complete logs and reports
• Follow DOT regulations and safety standards, as well as company policies and procedures
• Maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions
• Report defects, accidents or violations
• Represent Company in a professional manner
• Overnights required

Shop responsibilities

• Inspect cabinets and other components prior to wrapping or packaging to ensure correct wood species, color, profiles, overlays and door and drawer fronts and that items matches the order
• Inspect for defects such as scratches, dents, loose parts, uneven doors and drawers.
• Organize, prioritizes, and wrap cabinets per schedule
• Securely package and load cabinets of all shapes and sizes to ensure durability during transport and according to company specifications
• Utilize basic hand tools

Qualifications:

• Previous work experience as a Delivery or Route Driver is preferred
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
• Strength to lift up to 70 pounds plus bending and twisting and sitting/driving for long periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
