Loan Operations Lead (Processing)- Arkadelphia, AR
Job description
The Loan Operations Lead has a deep understanding of business processes, the technology that supports the process and the knowledge to assess moderately complex issues. May give guidance to other team members or recommendation for process improvements within area of responsibility.
Key Responsibilities
- Assists with development and implementation of policies and procedures related to loan operations.
- Assists with training for new employees as well as ongoing training for all staff.
- Completes all required training.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Provides support to either the Processing team
- Uses knowledge of processing loans to assist in times of high demand.
- Performs Quality Control on required loans.
- Completes flood review on loans with property in a flood zone.
- Reviews loans as needed.
- Assists with managing Bankworx Tracker.
- Assists bank personnel regarding loan documentation questions and problems.
- Assists with creating forms that are related to processing.
- Assists imaging specialists with processes and procedures.
Education and Experience
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Four years of related experience in loan operations or banking, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Proficient with computer and scanning software.
- Strong analytical skills, including the ability to organize information.
- Possessed excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Familiar with regulatory compliance requirements related to this position.
- Able to function in a high attention to detail, deadline-oriented environment.
- Willingness to be involved and represent Southern Bancorp through civic and community organizations.

The pay range for this position begins at $18.32 per hour. Pay offered is dependent on applicant’s relevant experience. Our comprehensive compensation includes salary, benefits, and an annual bonus
