Compensation

$20.00+/hr DOE; Full-time non-exempt (overtime eligible); Comprehensive benefits eligibility (Medical, Dental, Visions, and more...); 401-K retirement; Mental Health & Wellness Progam benefits; Paid Time Off (PTO); and bonuses.

Job Summary

The Servicing Representative is responsible for providing customer service and payment collection. They are responsible for the processing of payments, customer communication, handling of legal documents, and communication with Borrowers, Correspondent Lenders, and Investors. Qualified candidates must possess excellent communication skills with the confidence to persuade and negotiate.

Essential Job Duties

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Resolving loan servicing issues for borrowers, correspondent lenders, investors, and internal staff via phone calls and emails
  • Able to meet and adhere to all company and departmental policies and procedures
  • Provides exceptional customer service to internal and external clients in a positive, professional, and enthusiastic manner.
  • Assists the team with other responsibilities in the loan servicing department on an as-needed basis
  • Utilizes available resources to identify customers' needs accurately and efficiently when assisting customers with information regarding their accounts.
  • Responds to and resolves any customer concerns in a timely and courteous manner and documents all communication through the company’s proprietary loan management system’s log.
Requirements:

Competencies

  • Minimum two years of Mortgage lending experience required
  • Professional attitude and appearance.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize tasks to meet daily deadlines
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Basic understanding of administrative and clerical procedures and systems.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Fluent in Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing).

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.

Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk.
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time remote position; work hours and days are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. with overtime as job duties demand.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • High School Degree/GED
  • 1-2 years of position-related experience.
  • Fluent in Spanish (speaking, reading, and writing).

Work Authorization/Security Clearance

Must be authorized to legally work within the United States of America.
