Position Summary:
The Special Loans Analysts process payoff and reinstatement quote requests from customers and third parties. Special Loan Analysts also perform ACH related processes.


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform the following satisfactorily; other duties may be assigned.


  • Processes requests for ACH, including ACH drafting for trial modifications.
  • Processes requests for payoff statements.
  • Perform Pre-Payment Penalty calculations.
  • Processes requests for reinstatement quotes.
  • Process Trial Plan Payment requests.
  • Reviews daily reports related to Loan Support departmental processes.
  • Assists with special projects.
  • Update policies and procedures as needed.

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
Associate degree (A. A.) from two-year College preferred.


Language Ability:
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.


Mathematical Ability:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.


Reasoning Ability:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions with minimal supervision. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.


Computer Skills:
Working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Previous experience with MSP, Black Knight/LPS and Sagent preferred but not required.


Travel:
Some travel may be required.
