A growing US Mail Hauler in Van Nuys, CA is looking for Part Time Class A Tractor Trailer Truck Drivers with exposure to US Mail hauling and/or operations. QUALIFICATIONS:

Education, Licensing and Certifications :

• Must be 25 years or older.
• Must have good driving record (MVR)
• Possession of a valid Commercial Class A Driver’s License.
• 2 year or more of recent Class A driving experience.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

• Ability to pass USPS background check.
• Must submit to drug testing and a criminal background check.
• Ability to pass a DOT physical including functional capacity exam.

Daily Operational Detail:

• All runs start in Van Nuys, CA. Driver shall bobtail tractor or from company yard (s) to the distribution center and hook to a designated trailer and park at a designate dock.
• Load Mail carts onto a 53 foot trailer and unload at a local post office or nearby Distribution centers. Return to the Main hub for additional runs and bobtail back to the yard to end day
• Runs are Part Time, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week: Weekdays, night and day, and weekends

Schedule:

• Average hours per week: 20-25 Hours over 6 days
• Shift examples: 6 Days - Morning (0330-0730, 0430-0830, 0230-0630)
• We work during Holidays. Holiday Pay + Trip Pay
• Days on example: Mon-Sat
• Days off: One day during the weekend
• Part Time AVAILABLE: schedule/hours may vary

Compensation:

• Class A Tractor Trailer: $27.26 + $5.03 in Benefit Pay (paid up to 40 hours per week) - Benefit Pay is used to offset monthly health insurance or 401K premiums. If you do not take company insurance & provide proof of other sufficient coverage or sign waiver, the Benefit pay will be added to your wages raising the total wage to $32.29 up to 40 hrs.
