POSITION TITLE: Logistics Coordinator

REPORTING TO: Warehouse Manager

LOCATION: Eddystone, Pa

Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager, the Logistics Coordinator is responsible for facilitating communication between production, sales and distribution stages to promote a healthy and efficient supply chain. Coordinate all inbound and outbound activities. Reviewing shipment materials before distributions, collaborating with transportation systems to ensure prompt shipment pick-ups and monitoring shipment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Ensure completion of the day-to-day functions of the shipping and logistics of liquid and solid products.
• Ensure all shipments are allocated/ picked / shipped in an orderly/timely pick-up and delivery of shipments.
• Responsible for booking carriers, confirming customer pick ups, lot assignments. Etc.
• Main point of contact for shipping/logistic issues.
• Main point of contact for all on-site drivers
• Respond to CS questions / issues in a timely manner.
• Addressing and resolving shipment and inventory issues.
• Monitoring shipments, timelines and productivity.
• Ensure all stock transports are completed as requested. If not, notify appropriate personnel.
• Must promote a safe working environment and good GMP’s.
• Keep detailed, organized records of orders and stock.
• Instructs and directs drivers on where to stage containers.
• Instruct and direct all drivers on what dock doors to go to for all inbound and outbound movements. If necessary, direct traffic outside as needed.
• Verify all driver seals on trucks are matching with what is on paper.
• Ensure loaders are filling the respective trailer inspection documentation.
• Responsible for accounting of all containers and trailers that are in our yard.
• Committed to providing a safe food product
• Adhere to all safety standards to promote and preserve a safe working space
• Perform all other related duties as requested

About you:

• BA/BS preferred or equivalent experience
• Ability to multitask and track multiple processes throughout the supply chain
• 2+ years of proven, successful experience as a logistics coordinator or supply chain manager preferred
• Experience of logistics software (SAP)
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and logistics software
• Good management and organizational skills
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of safety standards, regulations, laws, and policies regarding logistics
• Warehouse Management experience

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
