Job Description: Manages key client projects, working directly with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope and budget; coordinates with other departments to ensure all aspects of project are compatible.

Job Qualifications:

• 2-5 years of project management and related experience; experience in one of the following fields: beverage or packaging preferred
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
• Project Management Professional (PMP)/ PRINCE II certification is a plus

Essential Functions

· Determines and defines project scope and objectives

· Predicts resources needed to reach objectives and manages resources in an effective and efficient manner

· Prepares budgets based on scope of work and resource requirements

· Tracks project costs to meet budget

· Develops and manages a detailed project schedule and work plane

· Provides project updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders regarding strategy, adjustments and progress

· Manages contracts with vendors and suppliers by assigning tasks and communicating expected deliverables

· Utilizes industry best practices, techniques, and standards throughout entire project execution

· Monitors progress and adjusts as needed

· Measures project performance to identify areas for improvement

· Manages the relationship with clients and all stakeholders

· Performs risk management to minimize project risks

· Creates and maintains comprehensive project documentation

· Meets with clients to take detailed ordering briefs and clarify specific requirements

· Maintains a safe and secure work environment, including correcting unsafe acts/conditions

· Establishes and maintains an employee relations climate of trust and confidence, promoting achievement of plant objectives

· Help with process improvements in cross functioning departments. (SOP’s, Best practices)

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

· Works in a manufacturing environment

· This position is exposed to occupational hazards, including but not limited to high noise levels, physical obstacles, exposure to chemicals, etc.

· Must wear appropriate safety glasses, hearing protection, clothing, and footwear in appropriate areas and follow safety practices

· Able to lift up to 50 pounds
