ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Provide exceptional service and personalized solutions to ensure customer’s needs are being met
• Multi-task between various systems and requests by using efficient computer skills and professional communication
• Act as a liaison between DLS and our carriers by addressing questions in a timely manner

• Achieve a high level of familiarity with the shipping trends and patterns of the customers, their vendors and carriers
• Effectively negotiate profitable rates with our carriers
• Review the information submitted and accurately enter the data in our system
• Quickly and accurately determine a proper course of action based on the shipment details
• Inform the carrier of the process and what to expect throughout the process
• Consistent follow up on the status of the issue
• Process requests efficiently while updating our operating system with any applicable documentation and paperwork
• Arrive to work on time and consistently to foster healthy relationships with our customer, carriers and fellow co-workers
• Prioritize and resolve issues by utilizing decision-making skills and attention to detail

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
