Rochester Academy Charter School is currently seeking a Long Term Substitute in High School Math. This placement is expected to last approximately 2 months and is paid at a daily rate starting at $170 per day. New York State Certification is preferred but not required, out-of-state certification or a completion (or near completion) of a teaching program in Mathematics will also be considered. Successful candidates are very likely to find a full time position with RACS after this placement.

Responsibilities include:

• Teaching Geometry, Intermediate Algebra and Business Math
• Daily planning and grading of assignments
• Engaging delivery of lessons
• Developing relationships with students and families
• Preparation of students for the Regents examinations in June.
