Duties:

• Provide medication support services, including administering of injectable medications
• Provide counseling, case management, crisis intervention and stabilization services as part of a multidisciplinary team of mental health professionals and para-professionals

Minimum Requirements:

• LPT or LVN license, California Board Certified
• Two or more years experience working in the mental health field.
• Ability to maintain current, complete, and legible clinical records. (Knowledge of Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health Records paperwork is helpful.)
• Ability to work in a team environment and provide comprehensive services for severely mentally disabled population including nursing functions and case management.
• Proficient with written and oral communication skills.
• Bilingual Spanish-English is helpful but not required for this position
• Must show valid California driver’s license and current insurance information prior to start date and thereafter, on an annual basis. Must also maintain a good driving record.
• Ability to pass criminal background check and maintain clear criminal record to be eligible for continued employment.

Hillview serves adults (age 16 and older). Located in East San Fernando Valley, we serve the largest low-income communities in Los Angeles County. Our commitment to serve families and individuals affected by both mental illness and economic challenges remains our priority. Services are delivered by multidisciplinary teams who collaborate as needed to integrate our services with community social services and primary health care providers in our communities.

Pay: $22.75 - $27.71 per hour
