The role of the M&A Integration Project Manager is to facilitate the smooth and efficient M&A process and integration of our new acquisitions. Reporting to the PMO Director, this role works closely with key leaders, members of Business Development, Finance, and the Project Management Office to analyze, support, manage, lead, monitor and report on integration projects across Jencap. This position will work closely with existing project resources in the company. This position may require periodic travel based on the requirements of the projects in process, but it is expected that the position will be able to work remotely or in an existing local office of Jencap.

M&A Diligence, Integration, Consolidation and Synergy Realization

  • Serve as project manager for integration efforts and support for M&A Diligence and Deal Team processes. Acts as a business analyst while coordinating an acquired entity's integration activities.
  • Create and maintain processes and documentation to support and report on M&A Diligence and integration efforts.
  • In partnership with Finance, develop measurement, tracking and reporting for integrations, including merger related expenses and synergy realization.
  • Develop, implement, and govern processes, dashboards, templates, policies, and metrics.
  • Monitor compliance with project policies and standards.
  • Partner with leaders to develop project timelines, budgets, and resource plans.
  • Monitor integration activities to determine if budget revisions are necessary to accomplish objectives within time and budget targets.
  • Collaborate with leaders to identify risks and prepare mitigation and contingency plans. Identify upside potential and opportunities to accelerate timelines.
  • Conducts a post-integration assessment and evaluation including results, activities, and processes.
  • Interface with executives to define priorities, implementation opportunities, challenges and communicate risks and opportunities.
  • Provides timely and accurate reporting to all stakeholders; hold regular cross-organizational management briefings.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of project management, implementation, integration, or project activity experience preferred.
  • Strong financial background would be preferred.
  • A proven track record of successful project management and delivery, an ability to improve practices and substantial team leadership experience.
  • Ability to manage and deliver multiple integrations to completion using project management skills and project management methodologies
  • PMP certification highly desired.
