Machine Operator - 2nd Shift
$500 SIGN-ON BONUS + $50 WEEKLY ATTENDANCE BONUS!
Summary
Machine Operators tend machines that fill the cups and make required adjustments or repairs to the machines such as opening valves, changing cutting dies, and setting guides.
Responsibilities
- Starts machine and observes operation to ensure machine is operating properly.
- Stops machine and reports malfunction to supervisor.
- Makes minor adjustments or repairs such as opening valves, changing cutting dies, setting guides, or clearing away damaged product containers.
- Inspects filled cups to ensure that product is packaged according to specifications.
- Feeds product to conveyors.
- Mounts supplies such as film on spindles.
Requirements
- Prior mechanical experience and proven troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to lift and throw up to 50 pounds.
- Basic knowledge of computers and printers.
- Math skills.
- Organizational skills.
- Working overtime and altered work schedules are required as deemed necessary by management. This may include working more than 8 hours per day, and more than 5 days per week to meet production requirements.
