Position Summary

AstroTek Industries (ATI), a CMT company, is seeking a Machine Shop Production Coordinator for our Anaheim, CA location. The Machine Shop Production Coordinator is responsible for day-to-day duties that include preparing production schedules and establishing the sequence and lead time of each operation to meet completion dates according to sales forecasts for customer orders. *This position works a schedule of Monday thru Friday from 7:00am-4:00pm. The salary range for this position is between $60,000 - $70,000/year depending on experience.*

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Champion ERP Systems (such as: Job Boss/JB2), Including creating reports, reporting on delivery times and adherence to schedules.
• Establish and coordinate production schedules in a manufacturing environment to ensure the most efficient flow of materials, parts, and assemblies between or within departments.
• Coordinate and communicate delivery schedules and timelines needed for delivery of product to customer(s).
• Coordinate and communicate between General Manager, Project Managers, Purchasing Manager and shop floor to ensure schedule adherence.

Experience, Qualifications, and Skills

• 3-5+ years’ experience in a manufacturing production/scheduling role, or something similar required.
• Ability to plan time effectively and maintain physical and digital organization of materials.
• Must have experience with JobBoss/JobBoss2 or similar ERP system.
• Must have experience implementing scheduling in a fabrication/manufacturing environment.
