Maintenance Helper/Processor 2nd and 3rd shifts needed
Job description
Our client located in Hillsborough, NJ has TEMP-TO HIRE opportunities for 2nd shift (4pm-12:30am) and 3rd shift (12:00am-8:30am) Maintenance Helper/Processor's. Major job duties include assisting the Mechanics and Production with the following:
- Starting the machinery of Mondays (or whenever else needed)
- Assisting the mechanics with handing tools
- Mold changes
- Bringing or Stocking Molds
- Certified on sit down fork lift and Pallet truck forklift
- Cleaning machinery when needed as well as daily clean-ups of the production floor
- Must be able to trouble shoot machinery on shift if it should go down.
- Lock-Out -Tag-Out trained
Other minor duties include: Handing tools, supplies and materials to other workers. Preparing the work areas for the mechanic as well as helping clean up the machinery, tools, equipment used, trash and the surrounding work area.

You also must have basic tools to bring to the work site such as wrench, pliers, screwdrivers, socket wrench.

- Must be able to lift 50lbs. unassisted
- Must be readily available to assist either Maintenance or Production Supervisors
- Must know how to start machine (training provided)
- Must be able to stand for long durations
- Able to change simple parts on the machines unassisted (training provided)
- Must be able to assist in Mold changes
