Maintenance Technician Lead
JOB TITLE: Maintenance Lead Technician
JOB PURPOSE:
To install, move, troubleshoot, repair, modify and make adjustments to Drives, PLC’s and all other
Mechanical/electrical equipment and devices used in production, laboratory, office, general building and utility areas.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
5-10 years of manufacturing maintenance experience
PLC and Drive experience
ORGANIZATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS:
Reports To: Plant Operations Manager
Other Key Relationships: Production, and Corp. Maintenance Engineer
WORK REQUIREMENTS:
- Install equipment and machinery according to prints or drawings using standard methods of leveling, tramming and precision alignment of machine components such as shafts, bearings, gears, pulleys, rolls, and couplings.
- Perform preventive maintenance tasks, including lubrication of equipment and
Machinery, following standard procedures as indicated on PM program or in equipment manuals.
- Troubleshoot, repair and make standard adjustments to mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic equipment and machinery including fixed and variable speed power transmission systems and reciprocating piston equipment.
- Move material, equipment and machinery using standard methods of lifting, rigging, hoisting, blocking, skidding & operating fork lift.
- Assemble, fit and align machinery and equipment using hand tools, precision measuring instruments, tramming equipment and machine tools.
- Use proper metal joining techniques such as arc and wire feed welding, brazing and soldering, as required for installation and repair of equipment.
- Perform light metal fabrication, wood construction, painting, and other miscellaneous or general maintenance work as may be required.
- Set up and operate shop equipment such as hand tools, electric and air-powered portable tools, carpentry tools and machine tools including, but not limited to, lathes, milling machines, grinders, drill presses and saws.
- Complete shop records and use FT Maintenance following established procedures as required for effective performance of the job or operation of the department.
- Maintain inventory of parts and manufacturing supplies
- Preform work orders and PM’s via our MMS system
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
