Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Location: Maxwell, CA

Pay: $33-$38/hour – Up to 8% Bonus on Total Compensation - Relocation Assistance

Shift: 7am - 3:30pm Monday – Friday

Job Description:
  • Tests, maintains and/or troubleshoots (with appropriate test equipment) rotating equipment and associated devices utilizing schematics, vendor manuals and procedures.
  • Experience with pumps is preferred - packing valves, triple alignments, rebuilds, etc. - much of the maintenance involved working with them.
  • Participates in process/procedure development.
  • Function as a primary resource for rotating equipment related problems.
  • Assists other technicians and operations staff when necessary and supports efficient effective teamwork in the performance of duties.
  • Provides accurate detailed work history for reporting routine functions and provides training to other technicians.
  • Participates in and implements safety programs to minimize personal injury and property loss.
  • Participates in the Plant's Preventive Maintenance Program by performing routine maintenance duties.
  • Collect and Trend equipment maintenance history information.
  • Track spare parts and assist in physical inventories.
  • Set up and operate machine shop tools for various machine work tasks.
  • Inspect and repair turbines, heat exchangers, pumps, fans, and similar equipment.
  • Assemble and repair tubing, piping, valves and fittings subjected to both high and low temperature or high and low pressure.
  • Assemble, disassemble, repair and adjust various types of electrical and mechanical equipment.
  • Complete other tasks as requested by the Operations & Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Responsible for the safe operation of company owned vehicles.
