Shift Schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday from 6:00am to 6:00pm (No rotating shifts, this is a set schedule)
POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for providing manufacturing with maintenance support by maintaining and improving existing systems throughout the operations.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Repair and maintain all production equipment
- Keep all work orders and spare parts updated
- Must follow all LOTO procedures
- Follow calibration procedure for roll gap sensors
- Minor building and concrete repair
- Diagnose and repair a variety of production equipment
- Perform preventative maintenance on all equipment
- Could be required to come in for a plant emergency
- Perform additional duties as assigned or required
- Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems
- Perform basic carpentry as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- EDUCATION: High school diploma
- EXPERIENCE: 5-10 years industrial maintenance experience
COGNITIVE/PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS RELATED TO ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Use all hand and power tools
- Working tolerance to .001” on Bridgeport, Lathe, and surface grinder.
- Able to weld, braze, and use acetylene torches
- Basic knowledge of electricity and familiarity with basic electrical test equipment
- Able to fabricate parts from drawings
- Operate light equipment: forklift, man lifts, tractor, sweeper, & scrubber
- Ability to work with all production and support departments
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have minimal computer literacy
