TASK RESPONSIBILITIES:

The position holder is required to initiate activities and actions and administrative procedures within their field of responsibility including:

• Performing routine and preventive maintenance, repairs and other line maintenance of aircraft, components, and related equipment in accordance with specified manuals, procedures and EASA regulations.
• Ensure duties are accomplished in accordance with EASA and Cargolux procedures and standards laid out in the Cargolux Maintenance Manual Exposition (MME).
• Has responsibility for leading, supervising individuals or teams, both company and outside vendor organizations.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:

• Hold FAA A&P license
• An EASA Part 66 AML B1/B2 license would be a distinct advantage
• Minimum 5 experience in an aircraft maintenance support environment, preferably with release to service privileges
• Ability to independently troubleshoot aircraft systems, have excellent aircraft systems and technical knowledge. Capable to interpret schematics, wiring diagrams and evaluate structural damage
• B747-400 and/or B747-8 aircraft maintenance experience will be considered as an advantage
• Ability to work both independently and integrate with fellow station members
• Good interpersonal and organizational skills
• Good verbal and written communication skills
• Fluency in written and spoken English, other languages are a distinct advantage
• Have good standard knowledge of MS Office: Excel, Word, Outlook
• Be prepared to travel when required
• Possess a valid passport and driver’s license
• Must legally be able to work in the United States
• Live or relocate to the Los Angeles area

• Prepared to travel when required
• Willing to work shifts 24/7/365
• Stand-by availability may be required
• Work in adverse/outdoor conditions
