Job description
We are currently recruiting for an Industrial Maintenance Tech at our Donora, PA location. Monday to Friday 7:00am to 3:30pm. We offer weekly pay, PTO, paid holidays, Health benefits, and 401k after probationary period.
Overview:
Work with Maintenance Department to conduct machine maintenance at a fabrication facility. Keep up with routine maintenance, as well as trouble shoot and repair equipment if it fails. Also responsible for any building maintenance that may be required. Ensure all employees are working with safe and reliable equipment.
Essential Duties:
Schedule machinery inspections, and follow or create preventative maintenance as needed.
Drive vehicles required to perform work, including industrial sweeper, lift trucks, tractor, and industrial vacuum cleaners.
Monitor and top off fluid levels in industrial equipment and machinery. Assist with minor repairs to facility systems and equipment.
May be asked to move furniture, equipment, and supplies, either manually or by using hand trucks.
Notify managers concerning any non-conformities and the need for major repairs to the facility.
Maintain a healthy and safe working environment.
All other duties as assigned.
Ideal Candidate:
A background in hydraulic, mechanical, and/or electric industrial equipment is a plus.
Experience in a steel/ metals manufacturing or fabrication work environment also a plus.
Be able to stand and work in a warm environment for an 8 hour shift.
Be able to work independently and efficiently.
Committed to safety and a clean work environment.
Will always follow safety procedures including wearing proper PPE at all times.
Team work and collaboration within the Maintenance department, as well as production is key.
Be able to lift and carry heavy objects (over 50 pounds).
