Lakeview Behavioral Health is growing and we are currently seeking experienced Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic team. Our maintenance techs are an important part of the team. You contribute success to our hospital through performing repairs and maintenance on equipment and supplies, knowing and following established safety rules and policies and procedures, conducting rounds and maintenance checks on the hospital, participating in on-call rotation, keeping storage/work areas clean, neat and orderly, and displaying a customer focused attitude at all times; among other tasks and duties.

Experience

Required
  • 1-2 years of hospital maintenance experience, preferred. However, will accept other maintenance skills accepted.
  • Quick learner, with strong ability to be flexible/adaptable to ever changing priorities.
  • Knowledge of standard precautions, exposure control plan, fire drill and evacuation procedures.
  • Dependability and ability to report to work as scheduled.
  • Ability to perform essential duties as outlined in job description.
  • Superior communication skills with all levels of the organization.
  • Minimum 6 to 12 month experience.
Preferred
  • Knowledge of JC, regulatory requirements for EOC.
  • Experience working within a healthcare facility.
