Key accountabilities & deliverables:
-
Provides general and preventative maintenance support to help equipment meet/exceed operating standards in the areas of quality, cost, safety, customer satisfaction and productivity as well as minimizing downtime

In support of production, needs to effectively and efficiently adjust Temperature(s), Belt Speed(s), Air Flow, Coating Viscosity/Flow Rate, Bagger speed and functionality and Conveyors and weigh scales
-
Performs preventive maintenance to ensure that machines run at their maximum capacity through cleaning, lubricating, greasing and/or oiling
-
Performs facility maintenance including assisting in servicing and replacing minor plumbing fixtures and performing minor electrical work not requiring a licensed electrician
-
Participates on special projects as directed by the Maintenance Manager

Expected to occasionally make recommendations for continuous improvement (productivity, quality, cost and/or safety).

Complete all paperwork neatly, correctly, on time and in accordance with Company guidelines.

Work with common hand and power tools, such as hammers, saws, drills, wrenches, to precision measuring instruments and electrical and electronic testing devices.

Able to work alone or as a team member.

Able to perform Machine Operator tasks.

Follow all plant safety and GMP rules and regulations.

Follows all safety and GMP safety rules and procedures.

Skills & Experience Required:
-
Electrical & mechanical experience required
-
3 years of manufacturing experience or equivalent
-
Experience in operating and maintaining state of the art manufacturing equipment

Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public
-
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry

MS Office

Excel / Spreadsheets
Qualifications:

High School diploma or equivalent

HACCP (Food Safety) and Food Quality (desirable)
