Job description
We are currently seeking Maintenance Technicians for a 2nd or 3rd shift position in Ellington, CT.Responsibilities:
- Observe mechanical devices in operation and locate causes of trouble.
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts and examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
- Repairs or replaces defective parts and lubricates and cleans parts as needed in accordance with food/beverage manufacturing quality system practices.
- Works with Maintenance Manager to prioritize and plan work activities and completes work in timely manner
- Responsible for the overall maintenance of production equipment.
- One year certificate from college or technical school; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience in production equipment maintenance.
- Must be able to work 3rd shift 8:00 PM - 5:30 AM.
- Must be willing to work some weekends when needed.
