Description:MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN, Full Time, ST LOUIS, MO, $20/hour

SUMMARY:
Sunnyhill is a not-for-profit organization established in 1978 that provides residential support, recreation and educational opportunities for children and adults with developmental and other disabilities throughout the Greater St. Louis Area and surrounding counties. We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable addition to our Maintenance Team!
Some travel to our sites throughout the Greater St. Louis and Jefferson County areas may be required, but transportation will be provided by Sunnyhill.
As a Maintenance Tech at Sunnyhill, you will be helping with the upkeep of our properties and equipment in order to provide the best possible (and safest) experience for our employees and all of the People We Support.
Position Summary:
Primary responsibility is to maintain the facilities and supported living homes operated by Sunnyhill.

• Responsible for routine maintenance of Sunnyhill facilities and homes.
• Follows all safety procedures.
• Always represents Sunnyhill in a professional manner.
• Comes directly to supervisor with problems.
• Interacts positively with other Sunnyhill staff

Requirements:Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Class “E” drivers license preferred, or have the ability to obtain a class “E” driver’s license

Required Skills/Abilities & Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and HVAC.
• Ability to use lawn equipment (mower, weed eater, etc).
• Minor Custodial Duties (sweeping, mopping, cleaning).
• Ability to prioritize tasks and function well in a high-paced (at times stressful) environment.
• Acceptable background checks

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour
