We are currently seeking a highly motivated Maintenance Technician, for our Sioux City, IA location, to repair and maintain equipment in our facility.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Installing, troubleshooting and repairing equipment in compliance with plant codes, policies and procedures
• Repairing and maintaining plant machinery in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals and manufacturer specifications
• Responding to all maintenance issues, both mechanical and electrical, throughout the plant
• Adhering to all plant safety and environmental guidelines, policies and procedures and actively participating in the safety program
• Effectively communicating work performed and equipment statuses both written and verbally
• Install additional building and production equipment
• Modify machine controls and operations
• Troubleshooting and repair of production machines, reading electrical schematics
• Experience with CMMS systems
• Operation of various lifts
• Works with limited or no supervision
• Other duties as assigned

SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma
• Mechanical fundamentals
• Minimum of five years of experience as an industrial/mechanical focused in the repair and trouble-shooting of

manufacturing equipment, automated equipment, or technical training in electronics/electrical field

• Knowledge and/or experience with computerized equipment
• Prior industrial electrical experience in manufacturing setting (480 Volt, 3 phase)
• Welding/fabricating experience
• Must be fluent in the use of personal computers and possess strong written and verbal communication skills
• Work independently and in a team environment devising new methods and meeting new conditions
• Judgment to make difficult decisions on involved and complex jobs
• Pump experience: Positive displacement centrifugal
• Willing and able to work any shift, on-call, holidays, weekends and overtime as needed

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. Lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
