Our subsidiary maintenance and janitorial company is HOA Property Services. This company provides maintenance person, electrical and janitorial services to Common Interest Management’s associations exclusively. Our team is always busy with hours of work every month of the year, not just the summer months. Our team is comprised of conscientious and dedicated professionals with significant expertise in the trades including carpentry, electrical, lighting, painting, refurbishing, etc.

Candidate Profile

  • Minimum 2+ years assisting with carpentry, electrical, plumbing, painting and general facility repairs
  • Multi-tasking across multiple repair and maintenance tasks across the day
  • Great communication skills and responsiveness. Accountable to supervisor and dispatch lead.
  • Must have the personality to build strong relationships with internal and external customers
  • Problem solver and self-starter
  • Attention to detail for payroll, accounting, billing and receipt tracking
  • Ability to bid and to respond to RFPs
  • Computer literate- ability to write and to type clear descriptions of work, experience working with Adobe pdf documents, Outlook, Excel data entry and IPhone applications and texting

Required Experience and Expertise:

All work that can present at a large condominium or single-family home association, including:

  • Fill out reports on daily task
  • Cleaning common areas including dog feces per a schedule to be determined later
  • Light janitorial work
  • Ability to lift 50lbs over head
  • Scheduling and dispatch: Work with lead dispatch to accept and to review work orders, to calendar work and to manage work to completion on time, as expected
  • Productive and effective: Manage multiple jobs across multiple weeks successfully. Begin and complete jobs with consistently high standard of work
  • Attention to detail: Make sure all hours are accounted for with clear descriptions of work supported by a complete record of receipts
  • Business skills: Good judgment to do the right thing every time
  • Computer skills: Ability to use a computer, email and Excel spreadsheets
  • Critical-thinking skills: Solve problems independently and effectively without excuse or delay
  • Customer Service skills: Friendly approach with an ability to answer questions and to communicate proactively
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Figure out the problem to resolve it or ask questions immediately to clarify and to seek support and assistance
  • Language: Must be able to read and to speak English. Multi-lingual a positive
