A global independent tea and cofee supplier, is looking for a well qualified candidate to joing their rapidly growing production and team as a Maintenance techinian Lead.

Essential Duties:

• The Maintenance Technician Lead ensures all equipment is running smoothly through regular planned maintenance and repair of all types of manufacturing equipment.
• Will be called on to fix urgent issues as part of a team with other technicians, machine operators, and supervisors or independently.
• The employee works in a developing capacity with increased responsibility for performing a range of maintenance duties.

Preferred Experience

• 2 years of experience in a food and beverage manufacturing maintenance environment
• Continuous improvement mindset, assist in identifying opportunities to improve processes
• Knowledge of sanitary pipes, fittings, and valves.
• Knowledge of packaging and tape machines.
• Knowledge of Fluid Power - pneumatic, hydraulic, pumps, valves
• Knowledge of Power Transmission – gear, Sprockets, Chains, Pullies
• Experience with the following technologies:
• Variable frequency drive (VFD), sensors: photo eyes, level, pressure, flow
• Beverage processing equipment: brewing, extraction, admix, filling: rotary fillers, bag filling, Form fill seal
• Manufacturing lines and change overs: bottling, bags, pails, totes
• HVAC including boilers, chillers and air compressors
