Under general direction, the Mammography Technologist is responsible for operating X-ray equipment and performing various mammography related patient care services. Develops and analyzes test results for accuracy, acceptability and critical limits.

Responsibilities
**Sign-on Bonus**
Operate Mammography equipment to make clinical diagnostic breast images.- Develop and evaluate the film for technical quality, such as density contrast, definition and distortion.
- Explain procedures and educate women about the role of regular mammography in preventive breast health.
- Accurately prepare and maintain patient records and files.
- Clean, maintain, and adjust equipment as needed.
- Analyze test results for accuracy, acceptability and critical limits.
- Follow quality control policies and documents quality control activities.
- Call critical values to providers per policy.
- Resolve pending reports at end of shift.
Qualifications
Required:
Graduate from an accredited school of Radiologic Technology program.
Current/valid American Association of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT/CCRT) certification, or equivalent TDH – MRT
2 years breast imaging/mammography experience.
