Sales Executive – Managed Services (Midwest Region)

As the Managed Services Sales Executive you will be responsible for generating sales of Converge Technology Solutions’ Managed Services. In this strategic role, the successful candidate will identify, pursue and close managed services opportunities that are aimed at large enterprises. The Managed Services Sales Executive will focus on developing relationships at a strategic and executive level that address solutions that have sophisticated requirements and are innovative, efficient and scalable.

You will drive revenue through navigating and aligning with complex organizations and internal teams to provide relevant and innovative solutions. This is a consultative sales position that requires strong relationship building, solution design, financial deal structuring and highly skilled presentation capabilities.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Achieve the sales plan and new business budget through targeted prospecting, sales engagement and closure of net new managed services business.
  • Assist with the development and execute sales campaigns to create demand, work closely with lead generation and Product Management, CTS partner community, and sales engineering resources to build and manage a robust pipeline of new business. Manage multiple complex sales simultaneously
  • Build compelling entrance strategies into the executive levels of the prospect(s)
  • Articulate and present the CTS value proposition for Managed Services to senior IT leaders, effectively identify and quantify customer challenges and business needs through a consultative sales approach
  • Leads solution development efforts that best address customer needs and expectations, while coordinating the involvement of all necessary company personnel
  • Creates Statements of Work in an efficient and timely manner
  • Research of evolving technologies and industry trends that may impact customers business operations
  • Manage, direct and coordinate efforts for RFP and RFI responses
  • Accurately forecast revenues and maintain opportunities within the CRM system.
  • Negotiate Statements of Work

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 7 years of technology services sales experience focused on managed services, hosting and cloud solutions, with a track record of achievement
  • Holistic understanding of enterprise technologies (cloud, servers, storage, security, endpoints and network) that support customers’ business operations.
  • Proven ability to identify, gain entrance into, create and sell comprehensive managed services solutions to Directors, Vice Presidents and C level buyers
  • Understanding of one or more public cloud platforms and the benefits and limitations of those platforms
  • Ability to motivate individuals for the common good of our customers
  • Strong business acumen; articulate and comfortable selling and presenting to senior level executives
  • Creative problem solver who can react quickly and multi-task
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite of programs
  • Bachelor’s Degree Required
