Managed Solutions Specialist
The Advisors Asset Management Managed Solutions Specialist hybrid plays an important role in the AAM Sales efforts. The MSS will work in close partnership with the internal and external facing sales teams within assigned territories to promote sales of Unit Investment Trusts, Mutual Funds, Separate Accounts, and ETFs to a specific group of independent and/or regional firms.
Location: Boerne, TX or Remote
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
:
- Demonstrate an experienced ability to independently prospect a segment of the territory, conduct client presentations in-person, virtually or over the phone and conduct needed follow up and ongoing communication
- Build strong relationships with financial advisors in the territory by consistently offering perspectives on the markets and our solutions, presenting product sales ideas or other value-added materials
- Regular travel to the territory to visit highest priority advisors and branches (approximately 25%)
- Utilize third party data sources to identify potential clients and direct sales efforts most efficiently
- Collaboration with other sales departments within various product areas to provide clients with product accessibility while allowing AAM to capitalize on all available sales opportunities
- Utilize Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system to capture all advisor level activities and to maximize sales targeting and effectiveness
- Manage travel and entertainment budget effectively
QUALIFICATIONS
:
- Driven and goal-oriented
- Strong understanding of the financial markets
- Consultative sales approach
- Excellent communication and group presentation skills
- Demonstrated abilities in time management; including, managing multiple projects and meeting strict deadlines
- Mathematical aptitude and skills
- Proven experience working collaboratively, improving productivity, and implementing ideas
- Experience with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point), Internet and contact management systems
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
:
- 3-4 years of experience in the financial services industry, preferably at least one year as an internal wholesaler or previous hybrid experience
- Required Education: Bachelor’s Degree
- Required Licensing: FINRA Series 7 & 66
