Job Summary: Actively participates and learns all aspects of facility and operational management, serves as assistant to the Manager, and supports Supervisors to assure operations meet targets and maintain standards.

Primary Responsibilities of the Job: This is not meant to be an exhaustive list of responsibilities; other assignments will be made as needed. Assists Facility Manager and is able to demonstrate proficiency in the following: • Develops and deploys operational business plans for the facility • Ensures proper storage for each product and on-time delivery to customer • Full utilization of all resources and assets • Supervises Team Leaders • Assures that Management Trainee is fully trained in managerial functions and ready for promotion • Maintains a solid relationship with customers and ensures all expectations are being met or exceeded, looks for additional opportunities to create new business solutions • Ensures every staff member receives appropriate training, mentorship, and development to reach their highest potential • Makes hiring, disciplinary and termination decisions • Responsible for ensuring all CAPA/NCR investigations are thorough and complete • Ensures that all metrics (SAPP, POI, etc.) are communicated and reported timely • Meets corporate goals in Safety, Accuracy, Productivity and Profitability. Translates and personalizes these goals for the service center and each employee • Prepares and manages budget, capital expenditures, financial forecasting as required • Maintains facility and operational quality standards to ensure a safe warehouse in compliance with corporate goals/policies, showcase guidelines, NFPA, OSHA, RCRA, DOT and other pertinent regulations • Works in conjunction with administrative service centers including Human Resources, Accounting, Training, Quality, ESH, IT, and Sales to fulfill requirements and meet organizational objectives • Fosters an environment of continuous improvement through open communication, questioning attitude and empowerment • Ensures safety, quality or other team meetings occur, and serves in committee memberships as needed
