Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversight and support of an area’s purchasing staff at the field unit level with regards to SACS* Materials Management & Production Planning logistics.
- Support the area by defining continuous improvement opportunities and ensuring compliance by field units to division policies and procedures with regards to SACS Materials Management & Production Planning.
- Provide technical support and guidance to the filed units within the designated area.
- Provide support to the Director, Materials Management.
- Support the division’s team of SACS/SAP professionals working through field units within the area.
- Provide leadership to area purchasing/SC Planning to support uniform purchasing processes in the field units.
- Establish and monitor SACS/SAP compliance to established processes through unit Buyers and SC Planners.
- Provide on-going training and a recurrent training process for SAP purchasing of non-inventory materials as well as creation, editing and approving of purchase requisitions.
- Provide technical development, training and assistance to the field units.
- Ongoing development of processes related to using SACS to enhance Materials Management and Production Planning performance and data quality.
- Provide issue resolution with technical issues from a business user’s prospective.
- Support Area end of month activities with regards to cycle counting.
- Monitor SAP user access.
- Provide monthly inventory reports from all units to compare month over month inventory values and validate for discrepancies and/or opportunities.
- Provide weekly KPIs to all field units on Receiving On Time and PO Creation On Time compliance.
- ERP Systems include SACS (Standard Airline Catering System; SAP; Dynamics (D365); ROSS). The ERP Manager must be able to support current/future systems.
Qualifications
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Accounting or Finance preferred
Work Experience:
- Must have a minimum of 3 year of related experience with SAP/SACS functional modules - Material Management and Production Planning.
- Minimum one year of experience with MRP (Material Requirement Planning) systems.
- Experience with SAP R/3 or similar core ERP system
- Expert level experience in the complete Material Management and Production Planning process preferred
- Experience as a Buyer / SC Planner is a plus
Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)
- SAP data knowledge required
- Must be a self-starter and motivated to complete projects timely and with accuracy
- Advanced capabilities with Microsoft Excel, Word and Access
- Functional knowledge of ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) systems and MRP planning processes.
- Knowledge of supply chain programs and the ability to manage project execution of these programs.
- Must possess excellent people skills with a result driven approach
- Must be familiar with all aspects of airline catering or experience within a manufacturing environment
- Excellent analytical skills and problem-solving skill
- Knowledge of statistical software a plus
- Must have the ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
- Ability to lead a group to successfully complete a goal or project
- Willing to learn and implement new processes and procedures.
- Continuous improvement mindset
- APICS Certification a plus
Language / Communication Skills:
- Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external customers verbally and in writing

Geographic Responsibility: North America
Regional HQ role, candidates can be based at any of our Hub / Gateway locations.

Travel %: up to 50%

- Normal office environment
- While visiting a production kitchen facility there may be physical discomfort due to temperature and noise
