Responsibilities
In keeping with the Dignity Health core values, the Manager of Facilities Support & Special Projects holds a combined set of duties. He/she will be responsible for a variety of tasks that lead to a high level of customer satisfaction in the most cost- effective manner. Reporting to the Senior Director Ancillary Services, Manager: Facilities Support & Special Projects will create a smooth functioning environment in the Plant Maintenance Department and has accountability and responsibility for planning, organizing, coordinating and evaluating Plant Maintenance staff at SFMH. The position is also required to provide systems administration and project planning by setting and achieving objectives through interpersonal, interpretative, and technical abilities. In addition the Manager: Facilities Support & Special Projects will lead in a series of Special Projects appointed by the Senior Director Ancillary Services. In the role of Special Project manager he/she will execute operational projects efficiently and effectively. The Manager is a key leader on the Facilities operations and is accountable for managing all aspects of special facilities projects. The Manager carries out his/her duties by adhering to the highest standards of ethical and moral conduct, acts in the best interest of Dignity Health and fully supports Dignity Health's Mission, Philosophy and core values of Collaboration , Dignity, Excellence, Justice, and Stewardship.
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE: Three years experience in a health-related field. Demonstrated ability to communicate Effectively with health care providers and contractors - vendors.
EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree, specializing in business administration, healthcare management or similar areas or equivalent work experience.
SPECIAL SKILLS: Knowledge in regulatory and accreditation requirements. Knowledge of office procedures and practices; good budgetary skills, strong managerial knowledge; detailed understanding of community board. Excellent communication skills-both verbally and in written form. Able to research assigned subject and return with a series of recommendation on approach.
Pay Range
$47.10 - $68.30 /hour
