  • Deliver value to the DTC business through analytics projects and initiatives
  • Actively lead the team to provide insights to help achieve business goals, drive continuous improvement, and enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Liaison with regional business teams and own mission-critical business questions; effectively communicate analyses to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Identify, prioritize, define, and lead high-impact analytics workstreams, analyses, initiatives, and reports. Oversee end-to-end execution, and ensure work aligns to high-priority business objectives.
  • Actively seek opportunities to cross-functionally share project outcomes, analytical insights, best practices, and ways of working.
  • Design and maintain a suite of impactful reports, dashboards, and tools that empower business users to self-serve data, answer critical business questions, and make real-time decisions. Ensure that data pipelines and visualizations are accurate, documented, and evaluated as the business grows over time.
  • Collaborate directly and build consensus with key stakeholders including Ecommerce, Product, Retail Operations, Finance, IT, Data Engineering, Data Science etc.
  • Collaborate closely with data science and data engineering teams to ensure the design and execution of data structures and use cases meet the requirements of business and data science/analytics teams requirements.
  • Motivate and develop a high-performing team – management and development of team of analysts.
  • Ensure team output is visible and presented to relevant stakeholders for maximum impact and reach.
  • Own and develop project roadmaps based on prioritization and alignment to key business objectives.
  • Oversee request intake and prioritization process and establish robust communication procedures.
  • Demonstrate technical leadership by contributing to technical analyses and code review as needed
  • Mentor team through day-to-day challenges by maintaining technical proficiency in SQL, and best practices in development, and implementation.
  • Develop in-depth knowledge of relevant data sources and analytics tech stack.
  • Foster data-driven culture across DTC by actively determining, contributing to, and promoting best practices of data mining and data analysis.
  • Communicate clearly and effectively to technical and non-technical audiences, and create understanding, engagement, and buy-in for data and insights. Build and maintain trusting relationships with a diverse group of cross-functional partners.
  • Promote the use of data-driven insights through a combination of upskills training and knowledge/best practice sharing.
  • Evaluate new analytical, data science, machine learning, and AI technologies and tools that can boost performance, innovation, and business value.
About You
  • BS/BA required; Advanced Degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or another quantitative field preferred.
  • 10 years of experience of relevant work experience within advanced analytics, including model creation, forecasting, descriptive analytics, and query/script development.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, GCP or other), or equivalent on-premise platforms.
  • Strong SQL and Python skills required.
  • Proficiency with data visualization and dashboard tools such as Tableau, Looker, or equivalent.
  • Experience with managing and developing direct reports and helping them grow and advance in their careers.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop a deep understanding of what drives the business and how analyses can serve business needs.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills; ability to synthesize and present complex analyses to non-technical audiences including senior leadership teams.
  • Ability to communicate complex quantitative analysis, analytic approaches, and findings in a clear, precise, and actionable manner.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a large, matrixed organization, successfully influencing others & developing relationships.
  • Excellent project management capabilities to lead multiple project streams simultaneously; track multiple deliverables, tasks, and dependencies across multiple stakeholders and business areas.
  • Ability to mentor and lead others; provide hands-on technical guidance; conduct code reviews.
  • Superior problem-solving skills, self-motivation, and the capacity to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Prior experience and understanding of Retail and E-commerce business is a strong plus.
