Job description
The Manager, Human Resource Operations is responsible for managing the overall administration and maintenance of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), file management, and reporting.

Core Job Responsibilities:
HRIS
  • Supervise the day-to-day activities of our HR information systems.
  • Record and process employee information including annual leave, salaries and working hours.
  • Support management on structural policy matters related to the HRIS.
  • Maintain data integrity in systems by regularly analyzing data.
  • Work alongside the IT department to perform regular assessments and improvements to the HRIS.
  • Design user-friendly processes, guidelines, and documentation.
  • Oversee all system upgrades and system additions in partnership with the Information Technology (IT) department.
  • Ensure all HR-related systems are compliant with data protection laws.
File Management
  • Establish and implement policies and procedures regarding document storage, sharing, transmission, and destruction.
  • Evaluate existing document management systems and procedures to determine current effectiveness and efficiency; identifies and recommends improvements.
  • Consult with end users to identify problems in accessing electronic content.
  • Ensure security of system and integrity of master documents by implementing document and system access rights and revision controls.
  • Ensure company complies with applicable laws and regulations regarding data security and document management.
Reporting
  • Collect data on payroll outputs, management and employee surveys, employment records, and exit interviews.
  • Implement relevant HR metrics in order to determine the efficiency and impact of the workforce.
  • Analyze data and statistics for trends with regard to recruitment practices, motivation, turnover, and compliance with employment laws.
  • Optimize and implement new data processes and systems.
  • Compile reports of data results and present these to VP, HR and HR management staff.
  • Manage direct reports, communicating expectations, providing coaching and feedback, monitoring and managing performance and providing development opportunities
Requirements/Preferences.
  • Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources or business-related field. Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of five (5) years of managing a human resources department required.
  • Minimum of three (3) years human resources experience in healthcare required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years’ experience managing/implementing HRIS systems required; Ceridian Dayforce preferred
  • Intermediate proficiency with Microsoft Office products (especially Excel) required
  • Certification in PHR or SPHR, preferred
