What you will be doing:
- Analytical support to stakeholders in product, marketing, and other business functions
- Be the subject matter expert on all analytical & data related aspects of product and pull through
- Helps plan & prioritize new features/changes for student loan product suite by potential benefit sizing
- Analyzes & sizes opportunities to improve efficiency of the pull through process and customer communication that happens as part of the process
- Maintains student loan products and the pull through process by investigating root causes for unexpected trends and behaviors
- Analytical input to the test & learn process for testing new product features or changes to the application pull through process
- Presents opportunities & findings to senior management
- Provide proactive actionable insights to drive more business
- Strategically thinks and comes up with ideas to drive higher volumes across various product offerings
- Production reporting
- Develops and produces comprehensive suite of automated product & pull through reports
- Provides regular pull through updates to executive management
- Monitors pull through on a daily basis in peak season, looking for potential breakage
- Identify innovative data solutions
- Identifies and analyzes new data sources to help drive more objective and precise analysis
- Adopts & pioneers usage of new tools (Adobe Analytics, Power BI, Tableau, Segmentation etc.) that help generate more value from existing data
- Suggests changes to the data infrastructure and data retrieval process to remove roadblocks to efficient and accurate analysis

Experience you will need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field and/or equivalent work experience
- 5+ years analytics and/or reporting experience
- 2+ years SAS/SQL experience
- Ability to successfully handle assignments involving complex analysis
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft applications and all applicable business systems
- Proven ability to successfully handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously
- Preferred Education, Skills and Experience
- Knowledge of Student Loan industry/products & the Sallie Mae application process from app start to disbursement
- Experience working with Tableau or Power BI
- Hands-on experience of coding in Python
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $90,000.00 - $116,000.00 per year
