Position Summary: Responsible for managing team of REO Asset Managers, Closing Coordinators, Title Coordinators, and Administrators related to the servicing of REO property disposition.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Cultivate Client relationships
- Establish and maintain a strong Client network of Banking, Wall Street, Government Sponsored Entities, Regulators, and Mortgage Banking contacts
- Management of key rental and property management for owned assets as well as for third party Clients
- Responsible for managing vendor performance to the Company and Client performance expectations
- Manages and coordinates activities associated with the disposition of REO properties
- Daily communication with REO Clients and Vendors to discuss strategies, performance and any issues relating to the day-to-day management of Client's portfolio
- Ensures the comprehensive policy and procedures are updated and maintained and communicated to the staff
- Conducts regular training and coaching sessions with staff
- Ensures reports are available timely and accurate for monitoring the department's daily performance to ensure that all business objectives are achieved
- Manages staff and projects as assigned
- Provides recommendations for procedural changes and improvements as they pertain to the department
- Examines policies, procedures, and practices to ensure compliance with laws and regulations

Education/Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required. Four to ten years related experience and/or training required. Experience in REO, mortgage loan servicing, underwriting and/or loan origination required.
Computer Skills: Working knowledge of and experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Previous experience with MSP, Black Knight/LPS and Sagent preferred.
Supervisory Responsibilities: Responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of their department. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, training, planning, assigning, and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems.
Travel: Some travel may be required.
